Why Chestnut Heights Plumbing
- Locally owned and based in Elyria, working for our neighbors since 2012.
- The manager still does the work. Clay Parrish handles jobs himself, from leaky faucets to repiping.
- On time, with the problem explained in plain terms before anything is decided.
- An honest quote before any work starts. You decide; nothing is done until you say yes.
- Homes and small businesses, from a running toilet to the plumbing for a bathroom or kitchen remodel.
A lot of the plumbing in Elyria is older than the people living with it: cast iron drain stacks, clay sewer laterals and galvanized water lines. Those are a regular part of the work here, alongside the plastic pipe in newer houses. See how a job runs, from the first call to cleanup.

Common Questions
How fast can you get here?
It depends on the day's schedule and where you are, so we do not promise a time on a website. When you call, we tell you honestly when we can be there, and then we show up at that time. If water is spreading, shut off the main valve first (the emergency page shows how) and say so on the phone.
Do you charge for estimates?
Ask when you call: we explain how the visit and the quote work for your job before anyone comes out, so there are no surprises. Either way, you get an honest quote before any work starts, and nothing is done until you say yes.
Do you work weekends?
Yes. We are open Saturday and Sunday from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 11:30 pm. Requests sent through the website outside those hours are waiting for us when we open.

Before you call
It helps to know where the problem is, when it started and whether water is still running. If it is, shut off the main valve first. Photos of the leak or the water heater's label are useful too: you can email them to us after you send a request.
